Appelget Farm Celebrates Centennial Anniversary!
Appelget Farm is a small, family-owned farm located on 10 acres of preserved farmland in Mercer County, New Jersey. We have been honored to have the opportunity to grow for the tables of our neighbors, friends, members and others within the community. Kevin is the fourth generation of his family to farm the fields on Conover Road so carrying on the tradition of running a family farm is also important to us. Many ask us why we farm. Just as a town needs schools, community organizations and places to worship, they also need farms. We are honored to be given the opportunity to learn about farming and to teach our children about agriculture. Appelget Farm recently celebrated it's 100th Anniversary!
We are dedicated to sustainability and good agricultural practices. For us, that means farming organically, without the use of dangerous weed killers or pesticides. We use OMRI approved supplies.
