In their early days, the chicks were sleepy and would fall asleep easily. This little Red Star chick loved her nest of Dogwood flowers so much that she decided it was the perfect place to take a nap. She is dreaming about her classroom at Dutch Neck Elementary where she hatched.

We adopted 9 chicks from from the Dutch Neck Elementary School recently. They have settled in and are happy in their new home!
